I believe in pushing the athlete both physically and academically. I also believe in reinforcing the fundamentals of baseball, such as fielding, throwing, catching, etc. These fundamentals are the "bread and butter" of our sport. As a coach and a father I have always emphasised self discipline and a competitive attitude are necessities for success. Finally, that commitment and loyalty, as well as the ability to be a "team" player are tantimount in order to succeed both on and off the field.
