Welcome back Scorpions. I hope your high school baseball season was successful. It takes a tremendous amount of discipline to adjust to different coaching styles. For the serious athletes planning to take it to the next level, it is a must! Our summer league will consists of the sunday game format, a wooden bat tournament, and the 2005 Summer World Series in August. Scorpions, you must condition at least 3 times per week. We only have Friday practices for situationals. Conditioning, batting practice, and practicing on skills where you need personal improvement have to be done on your own. Coach Leon

Congratulations on your enourmous effort in Cooperstown. We played hard, broken, battered, and scared. However, we never gave in! I am extremely proud of you. We will modify our winter season due to the number of players who are participating in highschool football. Please stay in shape and be careful out there. We will be gearing up for the Winter Nationals in Arizona. However, we currently will be playing games on Sunday. No Practices! We will resume our regular practice format after football season. A few words to our injured players. When you play hard, there are risks of injuries. Nevertheless, you must remain focused from beginning to end. You must constantly give 110% both physically, and mentally. Baseball is a mental game. With absolute focus, you will minimize injuries, and insure the safety of not only yourself, but of every athlete around you. Coach Leon.
